Our method
Éphéméris publishes only what it can prove. Here is how we keep the "100% verified" promise.
Truth first
No fact is made public without at least one authoritative, traceable source. Editorial status is the gatekeeper: a fact reaches the "verified" stage only when its sources are checked and its three translations are complete.
Sources that count
We favour primary sources, museum institutions, and academic and encyclopaedic references. Each source is rated for reliability and remains consultable from the fact.
Separation of duties
Whoever writes does not validate. Verification is reserved for a distinct role, and every status transition is logged.
Your right to correct
The service does not claim to be exhaustive; it guarantees the verifiability of what it publishes. In doubt? Report it: every fact carries a reporting link.
